I like the music. :)

And no, sorry, but I can't do something like that. I'm a pencil-paper kind of person. But good luck!

I have another question (Sorry for so many questions...), what programs have you used here? And how did you put it all together? Multiple pngs with transparent backgrounds? Full images put in order? Flash? Tweening? No wait, I think most of the characters are frame-by-frame animated... Was Paint SAI or Gimp etc. used in the process?

Mainly Gimp, but I believe a few people use painttool sai and photoshop. This way all the frames can be passed around without worrying about everyone having the same program. The characters are sketched in with sketched backgrounds, then the characters are finished, then the backgrounds. Certain effects were created in Debugmode Wax, and animation testing and finishing was done in flash.

I agree with Alicenyans, I was expecting something a little better.
The animation doesn't run too smoothly.
Not to mention, what IS the point of this trailer? What is it trying to show? The small clips don't really have meaning. I'm honestly really confused about how this has to do with "deja vu"? I haven't read the story or anything, but I'm completely lost. A trailer should really convey the meaning and WANT people to further look into the show/movie.
Is the story just supposed to be about "friends" and a sort of "pop idol" theme? Then why is Miku holding a sword?
Again, very confused...
Also little things like font need to be looked into. Right now, the font looks completely unprofessional, and somewhat obnoxious; font should be one of the easiest things to accomplish, in my opinion, and it's really lacking attention here. May I suggest some fonts? Iperion Family, Vanberger, Moiser, Zian, Spac3 Halftone, etc... Try to make the font skinnier, depending on what programs you're using you may be able to accomplish that or not; but you can even do simple things on Photoshop like "Transform" and edit it there.
Also... the character's: they could really use some attention to them. Especially when it comes to anatomy.

Right now this needs a lot of polishing. You and your group are biting off more than you can chew, I believe.
Good luck in the long run.
Hope I helped in certain areas.
Didn't mean to bash everything, but I'm just trying to help.

^^ thank you for the critique.

The point of the trailer was mainly to gather attention so that our way too small art team could gain some members, so you're right, the clips don't really flow into a story.

The story is mainly just a 'friends' plot, no idol theme. We've used the idea of a master of the Vocaloids to create an OC that creates them, and he started creating them for work, but soon his motivation changes because he (very common plot twist here) lost his family. The sword is there because there is a villain that wants the technology used to create the Vocaloids for herself, and she sends her creations, viruses, after them (she's also the one to create Neru and Haku).

I have a very bad eye when it comes to fonts, so thank you for the suggested fonts! I agree that I need to study fonts more, but currently since I'm the only background artist and one of the animators I'm more focused on improving those skills (especially backgrounds. I know my animation still needs a lot of work, but compared to my backgrounds it needs less work).

It does need polishing, but hopefully will look better after an episode or two when everyone has had more practice.

Thanks again~
If you've got any other suggestions for fonts, or maybe a good way to know which font would look ok, could you let me know?

Oh, I see. Well I think you've gotten some new members, right? So that's good.
Ah, I thought it maybe had a pop idol theme because of the instruments shown. I guess that kind of threw me off. But now I (somewhat) see where it's going. It sounds rather interesting, but I think the ideas are just a little bit conflicting between each other. I mean, I just wouldn't imagine a Vocaloid destroying other Vocaloids. ^^" Guess that's just me then? >.<

When it comes to fonts, just think about the kind of genre you're doing or how you would describe what you're doing.
You're fan fiction has Vocaloid's in it, so automatically when I thought of Vocaloid, I thought of technology. Basically, I just searched on the net for fonts that looked "technological" or "futuristic"; you can even type in key words on sites like "FontSpace.com" and they will give you fonts based on your key word(s). You can probably find better ones than the ones I listed on other sites as well.
